SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The San Francisco SPCA has pulled the plug on its security robot pilot program.
It was being used to curb crime and vandalism associated with the numerous homeless encampments in the area.
Although it was working, KRON4’s Maureen Kelly reports that the non-profit shut it down because they’d received threats over their use of the machine.
