VALLEJO (KRON) — A prayer service is being held for the missing Vallejo teen who was abducted on her way to school.
Pearl Pinson has not been seen since May 25.
The man suspected of taking her, Fernando Castro, was shot and killed by police in Santa Barbara county, but there is still no sign of Pearl.
But her family is not giving up hope.
“I am never going to lose hope on my sister at all,” Pearl’s sister Rose said.
At 7 p.m., friends and family members of Pinson gathered at the last known location the 15-year-old was seen.
She was last seen at the overpass on Taylor Avenue and Homes Acres in Vallejo about two weeks ago. She was taken against her will on her way to school and has not been seen since.
KRON obtained the last selfie Pearl took, just moments before she was kidnapped.

Her sister said each passing day gets harder, but they are not giving up hope. The gatherers will pray for the safe return of Pearl.
“She didn’t deserve this and waking up every day is the hardest thing to do in life,” Rose said.
The Solano County sheriff said there are no new plans to search for Pearl, and they will continue to follow up on leads.
“To me, she is always going to be alive no matter what happens,” Rose said.
