EMERYVILLE (KRON) — There is an overturned big-rig that has caught on fire and shut down all lanes of northbound I-880 in Emeryville on Friday afternoon.
A big-rig truck has overturned and caused great amounts of flames and smoke along the interstate.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, the ramp will be shut down due to fuel leaking on the roadway.
Drivers stuck on the roadway began getting out of their vehicles.
Drivers stuck in the traffic are now being allowed off the ramp by driving the opposite direction on the roadway, one by one, according to KRON4’s Daniel Villareal.
