GUERNEVILLE (KRON) — Officials are searching for a 7-month-old boy who went missing Sunday morning in Guerneville, according to Sonoma County sheriff’s department.
Henry Massey, was reported missing around 8:30 Sunday morning and police believe that Massey is endangered.
An endangered missing advisory was issued to Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Solano, Yolo, Sacramento and Placer counties.
Around 1:53 p.m. Monday, October 24th an official Amber Alert has been re-issued for the discovery of Henry Massey.
Sheriff deputies described Massey as a white male with gray eyes, and brown hair.
According to officials, deputies believe that Massey is with his 35-year-old mother Hannah Ashley.
She is described as a white female, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
The two are traveling in a silver 2005 Subaru Forrester 4-door with a license plate number of 5JKZ255, according to sheriff deputies.
Massey is a white male who is 26 inches tall, and 15 pounds, with brown hair and gray eyes.
CHP Officer Juan Leon said the sheriff’s office likely requested an Amber Alert to broaden the search for Ashley and the infant after investigators exhausted their search efforts in the Guerneville and Sonoma
County area.
A parent who abducts a child often goes to a relative or stays in the local area, Leon said.
Anyone who has seen the vehicle is advised to contact the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department.
