OAKLAND (KRON) — The Oakland Raiders are enjoying their best season in years.

In Oakland, the Raiders are wrapping up a “mini-bye” week after suffering a bitter Thursday night loss against the Kansas City Chiefs.

That 21-13 loss dropped the silver and black from first place in the AFC to a wildcard spot.

But Jack Del Rio is not getting wrapped up in the standings.

“Well, my approach is really simple. I tell my guys, ‘we’re not going to lay around and bathe in the adulation of a win, look how good this is, and we are also not going to sit and wallow in misery when we lose. We are going to be matter of fact, we are going to learn the lessons and there are lessons to be learned and we are going to learn the lessons, gain that experience and then move forward,” Del Rio said.

And the business that’s at hand is a road game this Sunday in San Diego.
