SAN LEANDRO (KRON) — In light of the upcoming holiday, some children received some Christmas presents a little early.
Children from the Davis Street Family Resource Center received bicycles from the Oakland Raiders.
The Raiders wide receiving unit purchased up to 50 bikes for boy and girls this holiday season.
The event was at Jefferson Elementary School in San Leandro and smiles could be seen on every kid’s face.
Raiders top starters Michael Crabtree and Amari Cooper were in attendance. And that’s a big man.
Not only did the players purchase bikes for the children, but they also brought pizza for families.
The children also received some other equipment including helmets and locks, so each child can enjoy a safe ride.
