This system produced light to moderate rain and isolated thunderstorms across northern California, southern Oregon and western Nevada. Flash flood watches were issued in northern California and Oregon. Additionally, a Pacific system approached the coast of southern California. This system began to usher light showers over southwest California. Gusty winds also affected the region. El Centro, Calif., recorded wind gusts of 43 mph.
