BERKELEY (KRON) — A half-century ago, the Black Panther party was founded in Oakland with a message that spread across the world.
They were young activists, black men, fighting for equality.
It was a fight, some say, is similar to the Black Lives Matter movement today.
Now, there are never-before-seen photos from the Black Panthers party on display at UC Berkeley.
They will be unveiled to the public tomorrow.
KRON4’s Philippe Djegal gives us a sneak peek.
