SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A man who brutally attacked a San Francisco woman near Lafayette Park remains on the loose on Thursday, and KRON is learning he may have attacked someone else.

San Francisco police continue to search for the man, who out of nowhere, attacked the woman Saturday evening.

The incident was all caught on surveillance video.

The woman suffered a broken nose, and police released the video in hopes viewers would call them and help identify the suspect. But it turns out, one of the calls came from someone who said she too was victimized by the man

Police aren’t saying if this attempted attack also occurred in the same neighborhood but said he followed the other victim for several blocks and even got on and off Muni.

Inspectors are now investigating the alleged second attack.

In the meantime, those who walk regularly through Lafayette Park remain on guard.
