LAFAYETTE (KRON) — An 80-foot tree in a backyard in Lafayette fell Thursday morning, crashing down just feet away from a neighbor’s home.
A KRON4 viewer sent a video of the falling tree. This massive tree fell on Carol Lane.
Roots have nothing to hold on to as soil becomes more saturated.
