SAN JOSE (KRON) — A San Jose woman is sharing with KRON4 surveillance video of a burglary that occurred at her South San Jose home on Thursday afternoon.

The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, lives with her husband and children near Vistapark Drive and Capitol Expressway in San Jose.

The burglary happened at around 12:15 p.m. Thursday.

Her son came home from school to find the front door broken and ajar, the victim said.

The house had been ransacked, and her home surveillance video captured the faces of the burglars.

Jewelry and her daughter’s savings are among some of the lost items.

San Jose police responded to her house and took a report.

The woman said she believes there have been a few reported burglaries in her neighborhood, but this may be the first time a burglary was caught on camera.
