MILLBRAE (KRON) — It has been one week since anyone has seen a missing father of two from Millbrae.
Friends of Keith Green are gathering at Green Hills Park on Thursday night. They are there to offer support to Keith’s family as they continue to ask for answers.
The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Department will not say whether they have any new leads in this case.
“Very charismatic. Has a great smile. But more than anything, he’s very genuine…,” brother Julain Green said.
There are a lot of people missing Keith green right now. It’s been a week since the father of two walked to a pancake house and never walked home.
His mother and brother said he would never just walk away from his two little girls.
“He’s in love with them,” she said. “I mean from the moment he saw them,” mother Colleen Cudd said.
Green was last seen at the Millbrae pancake house on Thursday night.
He told his roommate he was going to meet someone and left his keys and wallet behind.
When his friends began frantically calling his cellphone, a stranger picked up Friday morning.
It was a hiker in the Rose Garden at Golden Gate Park.
“But the fact that his phone wasn’t with him was the concerning part…,” Green said.
The hiker gave the phone to police, who have been able to access its location data.
But so far, investigators said they have no suspects and no “persons of interest.”
“They’re doing everything they can. They did another full search of Golden Gate Park yesterday and came up with nothing,” Cudd said.
Keith’s family has papered Millbrae and San Francisco with fliers for the past few days, hoping someone will recognize Keith or even his new shoes – pink Nike Air Max 90 Ultra sneakers.
“I would want people to know that Keith is a loving father of two,” she said. “And I think he would want nothing more than to just get back to those two girls.”
The family has started a GoFundMe site to raise money for a reward for Keith’s safe return.
It raised $8,000 in just three hours.
