KIRKWOOD, Calif. (KRON) — Fresh snow fell in the Sierra Nevada over the weekend while the Bay Area was getting hit by a big storm.
A Winter Weather Advisory was in effect until Monday at 11 a.m.

Chain controls were required all weekend for those traveling on I-80. The requirement has since been lifted but the roadway is still wet and slick. Drivers are advised to avoid cruise control and expect delays.
