ROWAN Co., N.C. (WSPA) — A father and son are being called heroes after saving a disabled man from a burning car.
WBTV reports the man and his teenaged son were headed to a dinner celebrating Mother’s Day when they spotted a car on fire.
Moments later, the back of the car was engulfed in flames.
A woman driving the car told the father and son that the elderly passenger inside the car was disabled.
They reportedly pulled the man out of the car just before it burst into flames.
The disabled man was hospitalized but is recovering.
