OAKLAND (KRON) — Golden State Warriors fans swarmed the streets of Oakland during the wee hours of the morning on Thursday to celebrate the Championship win.
Tens of thousands of fans started to pour onto city streets around 3:00 a.m. to secure their spot.
A few spectators admitted they skipped out on work to celebrate the Golden State’s latest victory.
The parade kicks off at 10:00 a.m. at Broadway and 11th Street in downtown.
KRON4 will stream the parade live on-air and online all day long!
The Warriors made one of the great playoff runs of all time. They went 15-1 in the postseason, with sweeps in the first three rounds before beating LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in five games in the finals.
