SUGARCREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio (KRON) — Former Stanford swimmer Brock Turner, who was convicted in the Stanford rape case, has returned to his parents’ house in Ohio.

New video shows him walking in the backyard of the home. Turner was released from the Santa Clara County Jail on Friday after serving three months for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman.

He served only half of his sentence because of good behavior.

Last week, state lawmakers passed a bill mandating prison time for similar sexual offenses.

California Gov. Jerry Brown has until Sept. 30 to decide whether he is going to sign that bill.

Turner must register as a sex offender for life.
