EAST BAY (KRON)—Several students in the East Bay are protesting against the election of President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday.
Students planned to walk out of school through social media.
Thousands of students also protested on Wednesday including Oakland Technical High School and Berkeley High School.
These are the walkouts planned for Thursday in the East Bay:
- Pittsburg High School
- Pinole Valley High School
- Concord Mt. Diablo High School
- Alameda High School
- Milpitas High School
- Korematsu Middle School and El Cerrito High School
- Concord High School and Mount Diablo High School
- Antioch High School
- Camryn Brooks- Moreau Catholic High School and several high schools in the Hayward Unified School District. They will march in front of Hayward City Hall
- California High School in San Ramon
Students say they are concerned their voices are not being heard. They also say they are worried they will not be able to see their families.
