VALLEJO (KRON) — A collision caused a vehicle to overturn in Vallejo early Saturday morning.
At 5:43 a.m., Vallejo police and firefighters responded to a report of an overturned vehicle after a collision on Mare Island at Florida streets.
Firefighters arrived to find a vehicle on its roof with the driver self extricated and on the sidewalk, police said.
The vehicle appeared to have drifted out of the lane and into three large pilings that protected the avenue of flags, according to police.
The driver refused medical treatment.
Vallejo police are investigating.
