SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The Bay Area is known for being generous during times of need, and the Oakland Ghost Ship warehouse fire is a good example of people stepping up to help.
However, there are a few heartless souls out there, using this event as a way to take advantage of unsuspecting people.
And there are some websites dedicated to alerting you of fake crowdfunding accounts that are popping up on the web
