SAN JOSE (KRON) — Police are investigating a double homicide where two brothers were left dead in San Jose Sunday night.
According to the San Jose police, officers were dispatched to the area of the 900 block of 8th Street around 8:46 p.m. after a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival officers discovered two male victims, both suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Officers said one victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital.
Police have said they do not have a motive, nor do they have any suspects at this time.
KRON4’s Dan Kerman reports the San Jose homicide victims are Michael and Arturo Ramirez.
This is the 32nd and 33rd homicide of the year for San Jose, surpassing last year’s total.
