SAN LUIS OBISPO (WDTN) — The face of an Ohio man convicted of sexual assault appears on the campus of a California University.
The poster reads, “Don’t be that person” in a stairwell at Cal Poly: San Luis Obispo.
It features former Stanford swimmer and Oakwood native Brock Turner who was convicted of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman. The student group that and the poster hopes it will spark a conversation.
“At first, I was like, ‘That’s creepy,’ but you think about it and think, ‘That’s Brock Turner’s face,’ and that smiling face gets really dark and ominous real fast,” said Ren Blanding a Cal Poly Freshman.
Turner has since registered as a sex offender in Greene and Montgomery Counties.
