SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A seal has beached herself at Candlestick Point Friday, according to a San Francisco park ranger.
The female elephant seal was found by a park ranger around 10:30 a.m. at Candlestick Point located at 1150 Carroll Ave.
The ranger is guarding her to make sure she is alright before more help can arrive.
The ranger called the Marine Mammal Center to inform them of the seal. They have sent a responder who should arrive at Candlestick Point around 1 p.m.
