SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The wait is finally over.“The Force Awakens” is expected to shatter box office records. It has already raked in more than $100 million in pre-sales.
The seventh film marks the first Star Wars release in a decade and the first to be made without creator George Lucas.
KRON’s Philippe Djegal is live at Metreon in San Francisco, where the first showing was less than an hour away.
The film was expected to be spectacular, as a long line of fans waited for the premiere.
