(KRON)—High school students are protesting the election of Donald Trump as U.S. President on Monday.

This comes six days after the election results were announced.

Students have been chanting “Not my president,” while walking out of classes.

They tell us they feel their voices are not being heard.

KRON4 has put together a list of all the high schools that are having walkouts Monday.

  • Washington High School in Fremont
  • Acalanes High School in Lafayette
  • Several Oakland schools
  • Novato High School
  • Sir Frances Drake High School
  • Menlo-Atherton High School
  • Piedmont High School
  • Woodside High School in Redwood City
  • Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley
  • Cappuccino High School in San Bruno

One hundred students, some with signs, left Redwood High School in Larkspur at 1:30 p.m. and walked down Doherty Drive to Magnolia Avenue and Larkspur City Hall, Central Marin Police Authority spokeswoman Margo Rohrbacher said.

The students paused before walking back to the school on the sidewalk and obeyed all traffic signals, Rohrbacher said.

A similar number of students from Sir Francis Drake High School in San Anselmo walked on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard to Saunders Avenue and stopped and lined the sidewalks, Rohrbacher said.

Some students had signs and occasionally chanted ‘Love Trumps Hate.’ The students dispersed in time for the school’s 3:20 p.m. dismissal, Rohrbacher said.

Police said both demonstrations were peaceful and the teens safely exercised their constitutional right to protest.
