(KRON) — When you first step into your new home, there are a few things you don’t want to see.
And an alligator is definitely on the “don’t” list.
But that was the case at one Louisiana home, and the uninvited houseguest just didn’t want to leave. An alligator took up residence in a home under construction.
The man who spotted the alligator said he has never seen anything like it. And the alligator did not want to move out.
He was hissing and pretty upset during his eviction.
But the people at the house blame nature, saying it’s mating season and that the alligator was probably going around looking for a mate but got driven out of an area by a bigger gator.
And then, it found the empty house.
