TUCSON, AZ (WCMH) – A 94-year-old World War II pilot finally took the plunge and went skydiving, at 94-years-young.

Earl Young tells KGUN that the jump connected him with a more dangerous time in the air more than 60 years ago.

During the war, he flew P-51 mustangs. He never had to use his parachute then, but he did see others jump for their lives.

More recently, he told his friends that he was curious about skydiving. He went to an Arizona skydiving business, and his friends from his retirement home came along to watch.

Now, he’s deciding what his next adventure will be.
