SONOMA COUNTY (KRON) — A 3.0-magnitude aftershock struck near The Geysers after a 4.7-magnitude earthquake rattled the area Wednesday morning.

The aftershock hit at 8:46 a.m., just five minutes after the first earthquake struck. It was centered around 4.3 miles WNW of The Geysers.

The first earthquake was centered 5 miles WNW of The Geysers and has a depth of half a mile.

Many Sonoma and Lake County residents reported feeling the quake. Even residents all the way down in Vallejo said they could feel it.

Residents say their houses shook for about 15-20 seconds.

No damage or injuries have been reported.
