More than 12,000 firefighters across California are battling 17 large wildfires statewide.
A total 20,000 homes are threatened and nearly 50,000 residents have been evacuated.
Up in Shasta County, firefighters are working tirelessly to contain the Carr Fire, which started a week ago and has burned 98,724 acres.
Firefighters there got a special Monday morning treat when a little lady showed up with some breakfast!
Chelsey Lutz posted the video to Facebook showing her 2-year-old daughter Gracie personally handing each firefighter a wrapped breakfast.
“Feeding these guys a warm breakfast,” she captioned the post.
“My mom made a bunch of breakfast for the firefighters so Gracie and I are headed to help her hand it out. These guys deserve a yummy hot breakfast rather than sack lunch,” Lutz said.
To all our firefighters out there — thank you.
