SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A 4-year-old boy who was in critical condition after a boat he was on with 29 other people capsized in the San Francisco Bay Saturday afternoon, remains hospitalized but is now in good condition, a spokeswoman with the San Francisco Department of Public Health said Sunday morning.
The Police marine unit will be searching the Bay Monday morning with sonar to locate the sunken boat.

The incident was reported around 4:02 p.m. that a boat had overturned just 100 yards away from the pier.
Twenty-seven people and three children were on board the ship and some people were under the hull, fire officials said.
A bystander found the 4-year-old boy unconscious and performed CPR on him, according to police. He was taken to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.
The boy’s mother, brother and father as well as four others were taken to different hospitals.
They were all on board a 34-foot recreational sailboat called the Khaleesi.
The U.S. Coast Guard reports the 30 people on board have been accounted for.
“This could have been really, really catastrophic,” San Francisco Assistant Fire Chief Bob Postel said.
In all, five adults and the three children were hospitalized.
The Coast Guard and other agencies were in the area for Fleet Week and were able to respond quickly.
“Strong operational partnerships among maritime agencies in the Bay Area were critical today, both in ensuring the waterside security of the Fleet Week air show events, and in emergency response resulting in the rescue of 30 people from the frigid bay waters,” Capt. Tony Ceraolo, commander of Coast Guard Sector San Francisco, said in a statement.
