SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — An 11-month-old boy abducted from San Francisco Thursday morning has been found in Redwood City cancelling the Amber Alert that was issued, according to the California Highway Patrol.

William Brown was found with his grandmother, Phoebe Haynes, 44, who was suspected of taking him.

The two were spotted at a liquor store in San Mateo.

Police detained Haynes at a Big Lots on Broadway Street in Redwood City.

Brown was taken at around 8 p.m. Wednesday night.

The boy, his mother and grandmother went to the Foodsco in San Francisco’s Bayview district Wednesday night.

The mother went into the store and when she came out the boy and the grandmother were gone.

Haynes is in-custody and being returned to San Francisco police.
