SAN JOSE (KRON) — San Jose police are investigating a double shooting Thursday night that left one person dead.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired around Peter Pan Avenue and Bambi Lane around 6:30 p.m.
Police found two men each with at least one gunshot wound.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene while the other was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The motive behind the shooting is still under investigation.
No suspects have been identified or detained.
Homicide investigators are on their way to the scene to take over the investigation.
The identities of the victims will not be released until the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identified them and notified the families.
