LAS VEGAS (KRON) — The identities of victims of the deadliest mass shooting in recent American history continues to emerge.
At least 59 people were killed, and more than 500 others were injured after a gunman opened fire at Route 91 Harvest Festival outside Mandalay Bay located on the Las Vegas Strip.
According to authorities, the 64-year-old gunman, Stephen Paddock, fired from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino at a crowd attending the music festival below.
Metro Police said, when officers entered Paddock’s hotel room, he had killed himself. A motive has not yet been determined.
President Trump will travel to Las Vegas on Wednesday to meet with and offer his condolences to friends and family of the victims. Trump will also meet with first responders.
These are the victims identified so far:
Stacee grew up in San Ramon where she went to California High School. She lived in Novato and was the wife of a San Francisco Police Officer.
Michelle graduated from San Jose’s Independence High School and attended UC Davis. She was living in LA.
Denise went to high school in San Ramon at Cal High and was living in Southern California before she diedJenny Parks Jenny was a kindergarten teacher for the Lancaster School District in California
- Adrian Murfitt
Adrian was a commercial fisherman from Alaska.
Rachel was a 33-year-old records technician for the police department in Manhattan Beach.
Sonny was a 29-year-old a registered nurse from Tennessee. His wife was also shot but is expected to survive.
- Angela “Angie” Gomez
Angie was a was a “fun-loving, sweet young lady with a great sense of humor” who graduated from Riverside Polytechnic High School in California in 2015.
- Lisa Romero
Lisa was a secretary for Gallup-McKinley County Schools in western New Mexico.
- Jordan Mclldon
Jordan was a 25-year-old from Maple Ridge, British Columbia. He died holding the hand of a stranger at the concert.
- Jennifer T. Irvine
Jennifer was a San Diego-based attorney who practiced criminal and family law and owned her own boutique firm.
- Bailey Schweitzer
Bailey was a 20-year-old who was a cheerleader and played volleyball at her high school in Bakersfield.
Susan was a 53-year-old mother who worked as an office manager for Vista Elementary School in Simi Valley, California.
- Denise Burditus
Denise was a mother and wife from West Virginia. She died in her husband’s arms.
- Neysa Tonks
Neysa was a Las Vegas resident and mother of three sons.
- Bill Wolfe Jr.
Bill was a youth wrestling and baseball coach from Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
- Christopher Roybal
Christopher was a 28-year-old general manager at a Crunch gym in North Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was known for his “big teddy bear smile and infectious laughter.”
Hannah, 34, was a stay-at-home mom of three who had lived in Beaumont, California.
Sandra was a special education teacher at Manhattan Beach Middle School.
- Carrie Barnette
Carrie was a Disney employee for 10 years “and was beloved by her friends and colleagues.”
- Rhonda LeRocque
Rhonda was from Tewksbury, Massachusetts. “A truly great mother, daughter, wife, aunt, sister, worker, and a good, kindhearted friend.”
- Charleston Hartfield
Charleston was a Las Vegas police officer, an accomplished Nevada Army National Guard sergeant first class, and a youth football coach.
- Cameron Robinson
Cameron was an employee with the city of Las Vegas
- Jessica Klym-Chuk
Jessica was a mother of four from Canada who had just gotten engaged in April.
- Quinton Robbins
Quinton was a UNLV student who worked for the city of Henderson as a lead recreational assistant.
