OAKLAND (KRON) — The suspect and victim in a fatal shooting on a BART train on Jan. 9 rode on the same bus prior to the killing, according to BART spokeswoman Alicia Trost.
Police said the pictures they released on Friday were from onboard a Tri Delta Bus. The two had an interaction on the bus that carried over onto BART, Trost said.
BART police are still looking through footage to try and identify possible witnesses. They have been talking to people who ride the same bus to BART line that the suspect and victim rode on.
Police still do not have the suspect’s identity.
