OAKLAND (KRON) – A victim was shot multiple times near Lake Merritt in Oakland on Wednesday night, according to police.
The shooting happened in the 1200 block of Lake Merritt Boulevard at 10:24 p.m.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds.
Five suspects fled the area and remain at large.
The victim is in stable condition.
