SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Four men driving by opened fire and left a victim critically injured as he was walking in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Friday night, police said Monday.
The shooting was reported at 11:52 p.m. in the 1600 block of Newcomb Avenue, according to police.
The vehicle was identified as a white early 2000s Toyota Camry, when four suspects inside opened fire on the victim that was passing by, police said.
Police and paramedics responded after the victim was struck multiple times and was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Police were flagged down near the corner of Quesada Avenue and Jennings Street at 9:50 p.m., after shots were fired two hours earlier that night.
A witness saw two cars leaving the area, a black four-dour early 2000s Mercedes Benz and a light four-door sedan, police said.
No suspects have been arrested in either shooting.Bay City News contributed to this report
