Vice President of Parent Teacher Club arrested for stealing 23K

VACAVILLE (KRON) — The Vice President of the Fairmont School Parent Teacher club has been arrested for stealing $23,000 from the club’s bank account.

In May, representatives from the Fairmont School Parent Teacher Club reported a volunteer board member had embezzled money from the club’s bank account, police said.


On Tuesday, 42-year-old Jennifer Lopez-Day of San Jose was arrested on suspicion of grand theft, according to the Vacaville Police Department.

Lopez-Day was the club’s vice president and had used club funds to make approximately $23,000 in personal purchases.
