SAN FRANCISCO (KRON/BCN) — Vice President Joe Biden and his wife plan to visit the Bay Area for several events scheduled later this week, White House officials said today.
On Thursday, the vice president is set to be in San Francisco for a political fundraiser. Then on Friday, he’s scheduled to visit a PG&E facility in Oakland, where he will promote investing in job-training programs, according to White House officials.
The White House says the vice president’s wife, Jill Biden, will also be in the Bay Area and is scheduled to visit De Anza College in Cupertino to highlight the Obama Administration’s commitment to community colleges.
White House officials have not released further details about the visit.
