MIDDLETOWN (KRON) — Cal Fire has tweeted that the 76,000-acre Valley Fire in Lake, Napa, and Sonoma Counties is now 100 percent contained Tuesday afternoon.

Four people have died in the wildfire, and more than a thousand homes were destroyed.
The Red Cross and Salvation Army have been on the scene to help. The thousands of people who were evacuated have all been allowed back into the areas that had been blocked off.
The Valley Fire has destroyed nearly 2,000 structures.
