VALLEJO (KRON) — Another parent is coming forward with a complaint about the Vallejo school district, but not with concerns about the ongoing violence on campus. This parent says that his done is being subjected to inappropriate behavior by one of his teachers.
The father asked for KRON 4 to conceal his identity, says that his son sexually harassed by one of his teachers a Jesse Bethel High School
He says, that along with asking his son to a baseball game, the teacher has gone even further, making unauthorized contact with his son outside of school.
The concerned parent says this behavior has been going on for months.
He says he has left about ten messages for the school principal, but has never been called back.
KRON 4 also tried to contact the principal, but was referred to the district office. They said that no one was available, but did say that KRON 4’s Haaziq Madyun could write down any questions regarding the allegations in case someone showed up who could answer them.
As of Thursday evening, the school district had not responded.
Vallejo police did confirm that the parent has contacted them about the teacher’s alleged inappropriate conduct and that they are looking into it.
A spokesperson for the police department says that so far, no criminal act has been found. Because of that, KRON 4 is not revealing the teacher’s identity.
