UPDATED 6:42 P.M. — SAN JOSE (KRON) — Officials have deemed a VTA station safe after police investigated a suspicious object on the platform.
Authorities were called to the River Oaks station platform about the object, authorities said.
An investigation determined there was threat to public safety.
SAN JOSE (KRON) — Light rail service stopped at Tasman and River Oaks stations due to police activity, police said.
Roads are also closed from Tasman to River Oaks Parkway.
VTA officials said there will be substitute bus service will operate between Baypointe Station and Boneventura.
