AMHERST, Mass. (AP) – The University of Massachusetts says there’s a report of one or two possible “hostile armed” people at a dormitory on its Amherst campus and is ordering people to shelter in place.

The university says on its website campus police have secured a perimeter around Pierpoint Hall.
