United Airlines ground stop lifted, residual delays expected

UNITED AIRLINES (KRON) –United Airlines flights were delayed this morning due to a system wide glitch, which has since been lifted, according to airline officials.  Those traveling should still expect residual delays.

According to a passenger, United display screens have gone blank. Below is a photo of what travelers of the airline are seeing while waiting at their gates.

If you’re traveling with United Airlines today, make sure you contact the airport before leaving.  Airport officials are hopeful the issue will be solved shortly.

This is the second major glitch United Airlines has experience, the Associated Press reports.
