UNION CITY (KRON) — East Bay police are tracking a violent crime that appears to involve two suspects.
New surveillance images released are related to a Union City purse snatching. Police are looking for two suspects in the case.
One suspect is accused of the strong-armed robbery in this case. The victim was pushed, and in one motion, the suspect ripped the purse off her shoulder, police said.

That happened just before 11 a.m. on Jan. 14 near the corner of Alvarado Boulevard and Galaxy Drive.
Then, the other suspect used the victim’s debit card at an ATM a short time after that robbery.
Police described the first suspect as a white man between 22 and 30 years old who is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds.
The second suspect was caught on surveillance video.
