SAN MATEO COUNTY (KRON) — The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is warning woman about a man who groped two women on the Mirada West Walking Trail in Miramar.

The Sheriff’s office got two different reports from woman who said they were sexually battered on the popular walking trail. Both women

The first incident happened Monday morning around 7:05 a.m., near Magellan Avenue and Mirada Road in the unincorporated area of Miramar within San Mateo County.

That woman told police that she was walking west from the coastal trail when she was approached from behind by a man who groped her on the buttocks.

She described the man as 20 to 30 years old with an olive skin tone and 5 feet. 7 inches in height with a medium body build. He had black hair, dark eyes and was wearing a blue (beanie type hat) and a dark mid-thigh length jacket.

The second incident happened in the same area, around 5:50 Monday evening. This time, the woman was walking on the coastal trail when a man came up from behind and groped her on the buttocks.

The woman described the man as 18 to 28 years old with an olive skin tone and 5 feet. 8 inches in height with a stocky body build. He was wearing a gray (hoodie type) sweatshirt and blue jeans.

In both cases, the man walked away and the women were not injured.

In both incidents the suspect walked away and the victims did not sustain any injuries.
