CONCORD (KRON/BCN) — Two people were arrested Sunday morning in Concord after they were seen breaking into a vehicle and stealing a package from the porch of a home, police said.
At 10:22 a.m., a citizen witnessed the two break into a vehicle and leave in a separate white 4-door vehicle. As officers were responding, another citizen called to report two people took a package off the porch of a home on Granzotto Drive, according to police.
Officers located the two in a stolen vehicle at Concord Boulevard and Vincente Road. The two ran from officers, police said.
A female suspect was arrested back at the vehicle and a K-9 assisted officers arrest a male suspect in the back of a nearby home.
The package, property from the vehicle burglary and other stolen property were recovered, according to police.
