SAN JOSE (KRON) — Several people are detained for questioning after two people were shot less than an hour into the New Year in San Jose.
Investigators say they got the call at 12:28 a.m. of the shooting outside the Reign Lounge on McLaughlin Avenue just north of Story Road. That’s just south of the I-280/Highway 101 interchange.
When officers got there they found two adult men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital where they are receiving treatment.
Officers detained several people in the area. The circumstances and possible motive for the shooting remain unclear.
