SAN FRANCISCO (KRON/BCN) — A driver struck and injured two pedestrians in San Francisco on Saturday night, according to police Monday.
The collision was reported at 11:02 p.m. on Franklin Street. A 70-year-old woman and 79-year-old crossing the street on a green light were
struck by a silver Toyota Prius driven by a 61-year-old man, police said.
The 70-year-old woman suffered life-threatening head injuries, while the 79-year-old man was also hospitalized but is expected to survive, according to police.
The driver, who also had a green light but failed to yield to the pedestrians, was not arrested, police said.
No other information about the collision was immediately available.
