SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Two rounds of rain are expected to hit the Bay Area this week, with the second round bringing the most rain to the region.
The first storm hit Monday with most rain falling in the evening and in the overnight hours.
The rain will continue through the morning but should taper off by the afternoon. Expect a wet morning commute with light rain falling.
By Tuesday afternoon the rain should be gone and we’ll enjoy a break until the next storm which is scheduled to arrive Thursday.

The second storm system is expected to bring heavier rain and last through Friday morning. Strong and gusty winds are possible on Thursday, weather officials said.
Unsettled weather continues into the weekend with yet another storm set to arrive Saturday night and lasting into Sunday.
The North Bay is expected to see the most rain, with NWS officials forecasting 1.05 inches in Cloverdale, 0.63 inches in Santa Rosa and 0.48 inches in San Rafael.
