BERKELEY (KRON) — Two victims in Berkeley were assaulted and injured Saturday leaving one hospitalized, according to Berkeley police.
Berkeley police responded to reports of an aggravated assault Channing Circle at around midnight.
Investigators learned that two male students were walking home when a group of men across the street started harassing them, police said. The group crossed the street, knocked the victims to the ground and started beating them.
One of the victims suffered minor injuries, and the other was taken to the hospital.
No arrests or possible suspects have been made under this investigation, Berkeley Police are seeking witnesses.Bay City News contributed to this report
