Two people injured after two separate shootings in Oakland

OAKLAND (BCN) — Two people suffered injuries in separate shootings this afternoon in Oakland, police said.

A man suffered minor injuries in a shooting at about 12:10 p.m. in the 5500 block of Gaskill Street in North Oakland, Officer James Moore said.

No suspect information was available.

Another person was shot at about 12:33 p.m. in the 2600 block of East 16th Street near International Community School. The victim was taken to

a hospital, Moore said.
